St Hugh’s Church in Old Brumby, Scunthorpe was built in 1939. On the right is the site of the church just before construction began. On the right of the photo you can just make out the ‘Tin Tabernacle’ which was a tin hut and the original church.

We are a very outward focussed church and we go out into the community. It’s the people of this community which make St Hugh’s what it is and we have three generations of family coming here, which is fantastic.
