Children’s Good Friday Activity Morning

“An Easter Adventure”

Good Friday Activity Fun Morning at St Hugh’s Church Old Brumby Scunthorpe.

Join us for a fun filled morning of activities, crafts, drama, music and an Easter egg hunt as we discover the Easter Story.

Join us as we journey with Jesus through Holy Week and the crucifixion ending with the celebration of our resurrected Christ on Easter Sunday.

Palm Sunday: 10am Parish Communion and distribution of Palm Crosses

Thursday 29th March
Maundy Thursday: 12midday: Hunger Lunch: proceeds to Christian Aid
7pm: Holy Communion and Stripping of the Altar

Friday 30th March
Good Friday: 9:45am: ” An Easter Adventure”: Children’s fun activity morning.
2pm: Devotional Service

Sunday 1st April
Easter Day: 8am Holy Communion
10am: Parish Communion

Mothering Sunday 11th March

All age worship for Mothering Sunday 10am.

Join us as we give thanks for all mothers.

Everyone will receive a small gift of a flower to give to their Mum, Grandma, Wife or  friend.

Dear Jesus we thank you for Mothers everywhere. For all who care for us day by day. Let us not forget that you were a child and your mother was Mary. We say thank you for Mums across the world and in our country too. So let us give grateful thanks and let our voices be heard for all the Mums and Grandmas on this very special day. Amen
